By attending the Dolphin Watch Citizen Science Workshop you will learn about the classification, evolution, adaptions, identification of species in your region and all about their biology and ecology, their environment and threats to their survival. You will also learn how to identify individual dolphins and techniques used to take good photographs that can be used for identification. Further details on how to report a sighting and important information will also be provided and becoming a citizen scientist contribute to research. Each workshop will be presented by Dolphin Research Australia researchers and qualified staff.
Workshop includes in-class delivery and an optional practical component on request.
