Ocean Champion Byron – Tweed Hope Spot Citizen Science Workshop

This course provides a brief overview of the biodiversity and ecology  of local marine life on Byron-Tweed Hope Spot, Northern New South Wales. It also provides an introduction to citizen science – what it is, and how anyone can contribute to monitoring marine life and biodiversity through citizen science platforms such as iNaturalist.

Who is this course for?

This course is for naturalists, wildlife observers, marine enthusiasts and the general community who are interested in becoming citizen scientists to assist in learning more about our local biodiversity.

Each module has videos you’ll need to watch, followed by a short quiz consisting of multiple choice questions. You will need to attain 95% correct answers to move to the next module.
